Some days ago, objective 3 of the FAIRCOM has started. The main goal of this work package is to improve the training of legal practitioners on reparation for victims of sexual violence.
Objective 3 aims to bring legal practitioners -such as prosecutors, judges, or lawyers- closer to the reality of those who have suffered sexual violence. In the coming months we will develop several local workshops in Italy, Greece, the Netherlands, and Spain. We will hold a transnational Seminar in Madrid by 2021.
The UC3M team is leading this goal, and since May we are starting to develop different materials for the trainings. These materials will provide information on reparations to victims in Europe, good practice in the world and bring the testimony of victims closer to legal practitioners.
